Hutto’s beloved annual festival tradition will continue this year with the the 27th Hutto Olde Tyme Days Festival, sponsored by the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 20 in historic downtown Hutto from 9:30 a.m. until midnight.

This year’s fun-filled event, as in years past, will feature 100-plus booths offering delicious foods, beer and soft drinks, plus arts and crafts.

Live entertainment is scheduled all day long on the Covert Stage on East Street, plus carnival rides, a petting zoo, mechanical bull, an antique car show and more.

Free live music throughout the day will feature bands such as Warhorse, Texas Tango Band, MoonHowlers Rockabilly, the Nick Roger’s Blues Band and Smith Family Robinson.

The evening concert and street dance is only $5 cover this year at the gate and will feature Johnny Dee’s Rocket 88s. Gates will open at 7 p.m.

Festival parking will be only $2 at the city’s Co-op on U.S. Hwy 79, and all parking proceeds will benefit the Hutto Athletic Booster Club.
