Council reception

The community is invited to attend a public reception at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Hutto City Council chambers, 401 W. Front St.

Mayor David F. Begier will make a special presentation to former Council members Tina Slayton and Jason Wirth in recognition of their service at 6:30 p.m.

Newly elected council members Anne Cano and Melanie Rios will be sworn in at 7 p.m. The council meeting will begin immediately after.
